Tara Reid first appeared in commercials for television while still a small child. Her big break occurred after Tara Reid made an appearance in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Her career was launched by this film and she began to receive higher offers from films such as Urban Legend or Cruel Intentions. American Pie - a cult flick about sexual encounters between teens - was Reid's first big break in Hollywood. Her role as Vicky as the virgin gave her a beautiful face. The film did not lead to a big, successful Hollywood career. The career of Reid was plagued with many failures. Some of them were Josie and the Pussycats. The actress did have part on the set of American Pie 2 for a short time, but it didn't help her decline in career. Reid is better known for her work as a party planner, designer and party-goer rather than as an actor because of her numerous offscreen mistakes she has made.
